Sydney New Year 2016

As part of this year's New Year's Eve celebrations in Sydney, Tourism Australia beamed footage of Sydney Harbour, the city's iconic beaches and animals from Taronga Zoo on the pylons of Sydney Harbour Bridge. It was a world-first initiative between Australia.com and City of Sydney where six short films were shot withGoPros and projected onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge's two 79m high pillars, keeping the more than 1.6 million spectators entertained leading up to the big finale at midnight.

They had cameramen gathering footage of the event on the night, and started the footage transferring over to me in the UK before going to bed. I was tasked with producing a couple of highlight edits for Australia's social media channels and having them ready to publish when they woke up.
